Are you able to play the guitar as well as you would like to? Imagine being the guitarist and musician you want to be. This is a realistic goal and one which I want to help you achieve. FAQ

1. Learn things the right way, at the right time.

The problem with learning from the internet or teaching yourself is that although you may be learning the right content, you can't always tell if you're learning it in the right order. This can leave gaps in your knowledge, as well as develop 'bad habits' in your technique. Learning with a knowledgable guitar teacher will help you learn in the right way and eliminate the wasted time associated with trial and error approaches.

2. See and hear the things you are learning demonstrated correctly.

Is that tab you're using to learn your favourite song accurate? Do those music theory articles on the internet come from a reliable source and are they definitely correct in what they say? Even if you learn from a good book or DVD, who do you ask when you have questions? With an experienced teacher, you can be sure that when you have a problem you can get it resolved quickly and get back to enjoying your progress.

3. Get help with your practice.

Guitar lessons alone don't make people great guitarists - It's the seven days between lessons where you really make progress. A great guitar teacher recognises this fact, and will help you come up with an effective practice strategy tailored to your goals. Once you learn 'how' to practice, you can maximise your results in the shortest possible time.

I design lessons tailored to the musical styles you listen to and the things you want to learn. My goal is to de-mystify the process of learning guitar, as well as making your lessons as fun and enjoyable as possible.
